A short escape through San Salvador’s history and La Libertad’s coast: a night walk through the Historic Center, a visit to Puerta del Diablo, and a sunset at El Tunco beach.
Itinerary
Day 1 – San Salvador Airport pickup and transfer to your hotel. Free time to rest. In the evening, a walking tour of the Historic Center, including the National Palace, the National Library (BINAES), Libertad Park (a landmark of the country’s independence), the Portales de La Dalia, and El Rosario Church — a modern building known for its stained-glass «Eye of God» and its wrought-iron Stations of the Cross. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 – Puerta del Diablo / Sunset Park Breakfast included. The day starts at Puerta del Diablo, known for its rock formations, legends, and panoramic views. From there, head down to the coast to Sunset Park, an oceanfront theme park with rides, food, and entertainment for all ages. The day ends in El Tunco, the well-known surf town, with time to enjoy live music, local art, and the sunset. Return to the hotel.
Day 3 – San Salvador Transfer to the airport at the scheduled time. End of services.
